Overview

Sustainability is no longer a standalone policy -  it is a strategic responsibility for every forward-thinking educational institution. As global expectations evolve, schools and universities are increasingly expected to align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and demonstrate measurable impact.

In this upcoming IEAC (UK) webinar, " Unpacking Sustainability & the SDGs: How Educational Institutions Can Champion the Global Agenda " Dr. Karl Meneghella will explore how sustainability can move beyond written statements and become embedded within institutional culture, leadership, governance, and quality assurance frameworks.

This session will introduce the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals and provide practical guidance for Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, TVET institutions, and Universities on integrating SDGs into curriculum design, strategic planning, student engagement initiatives, and community partnerships.

Participants will reflect on their current sustainability initiatives, identify institutional gaps, and develop actionable steps to lead at least one SDG-focused initiative within the next 12 months - positioning their institution as future-ready, responsible, and globally aligned.
