Overview
International education representatives play a crucial role in student recruitment, but institutions must be cautious in selecting and managing them. Recent investigations have linked some representatives to fraudulent student placements and even human trafficking networks, raising serious concerns.
With shifting immigration policies, study permit caps, and post-study work restrictions, many institutions are re-evaluating their recruitment practices. Some have indiscriminately terminated agent partnerships, which can negatively impact international student recruitment.
Having worked in international partnerships and student recruitment for decades, Dr. Dimmock will share insights on how institutions can recruit ethical representatives, monitor performance, and strengthen partnerships for long-term success.
