CT4L Institute™ was created to address these gaps directly.

Founded by Jennie Williams, a solicitor, international human rights lawyer, and GEDSI technical specialist, CT4L Institute™ offers the Critical Thinking for Life curriculum. This is a flexible 15-week, IEAC CPD-accredited programme designed specifically for EFL university students.

Every lesson embeds critical thinking in real-world, cross-disciplinary contexts, including science, business, politics, human rights, ethics, and the growing influence of AI. Students do not only learn to evaluate other people’s arguments. They learn to question their own. An equity lens is embedded into every session, helping students think more clearly, responsibly, and fairly.

The curriculum is internationally benchmarked against IB TOK and ATL frameworks, referenced against UKiset and ISEB standards, and available to institutions at every level of support, from a free curriculum framework to full course delivery and IEAC-accredited teacher training.

What Sets CT4L™ Apart

CT4L™ is not a course students take and then forget. It creates a change in attitude and behaviour in how they see and understand the world. The learning is applicable every time students read a news headline, every time an algorithm recommends content to them, and every time they are asked to make or evaluate a decision.
